EK Rep presents Season 2017 – 2018

Village Theatre auditorium with audience

Another season begins for East Kilbride Rep Theatre Club this month – and we want you to share in this exciting upcoming year at the Village Theatre.

With an eclectic collection of productions, we are proud to present: a mix of country life in Laurie Lee’s Cider with Rosie; household comedy in The Kitchen Sink by Tom Wells; Katherine DiSavino’s Things My Mother Taught Me and a contemporary take on a Shakespeare tragedy, Juliet and Her Romeo, before the season finishes with Gordon Steel‘s drama Like a Virgin.

As well as offering these great plays, we invite you to our festival of one-act plays, EK RepFest, which sees fellow amateur theatre groups from all over Scotland coming together to exhibit their shows, have them judged by a professional adjudicator, and embrace the community spirit. The prices for tickets are £5 per night Monday to Friday, £7 for the Saturday event or £14 for the whole festival.

In November and December, we invite you to be our guest at our pantomime, Beauty and the Beast.  Cheer the goodies, boo the baddies, sing along with the cast and have a memorable
night with this EK Rep-written show.

With such a wide range of productions, season 2017/2018 will appeal to everyone, and we hope you will come along for a good night of theatre.  If you wish to see all of the shows this season, we offer a season ticket that grants you access to all of the plays, minus the pantomime, and every night of EK RepFest 2018 – all for the amazing price of £28!  Click here for details.
